Inspections

What types of RVs do you inspect?

We inspect most motorized and towable RVs, including Class A, Class B, Class C and Super C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, truck campers, pop-up campers, and destination trailers.

Do you inspect both new and used RVs?

Yes. We inspect both new and previously owned RVs. Even a brand-new RV can have manufacturing, installation, or dealership-preparation issues that are worth identifying before delivery.

How long does an inspection take?

A typical inspection requires approximately six to eight hours on-site. Preparing the detailed written report may require another six to eight hours. Reports are generally delivered by the end of the following day.

Does the buyer need to be present?

No. The buyer does not need to be present while we conduct the inspection. Afterward, the inspector will discuss the findings with you and answer your questions.

What is included in a complete RV inspection?

Depending on the selected package and installed equipment, we evaluate the roof and water intrusion, air conditioning, refrigerator, furnace, water heater, converter and inverter, propane, underbelly, solar, tires, suspension and running gear, batteries, AC and DC electrical systems, exterior structure, plumbing, headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and other accessible components.

Do you offer fluid analysis?

Yes. Fluid analysis is available for an additional $150 per fluid. Samples are sent to a laboratory, with results typically available within 48 hours to one week depending on the laboratory's workload.

Do you offer different inspection packages?

Yes. We offer an Essential Inspection and a Premier Inspection. Contact us and we'll help you determine which package is appropriate for your RV and purchasing situation.

Pricing & Scheduling

How much does an RV inspection cost?

Pricing is customized for each RV based on its year, make, model, condition, and location. Contact us for a free, no-obligation quote.

What information is needed for a quote?

Please provide the RV's year, make, model, general condition, and current location.

How far in advance should customers schedule?

We can typically schedule an inspection within one week. Availability may vary depending on inspections already scheduled, so we recommend contacting us as soon as you know when and where the RV will be available.

Do you offer same-day or emergency inspections?

No. We do not currently offer same-day or emergency appointments. Scheduling ahead allows us to reserve enough time to perform a thorough inspection.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

A $150 cancellation fee applies when the inspection agreement has been signed and the inspection is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. A $75 rescheduling fee applies when an inspection is rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and cash. Credit and debit cards are not accepted at this time.

Locations & Access

What areas do you serve?

Our primary service area includes Vacaville, Davis, Sacramento, Fairfield, Napa, Roseville, Woodland, Elk Grove, and surrounding communities.

Will you travel outside your regular service area?

Yes. We can travel outside our regular service area for an additional fee. A travel fee generally applies when the RV is located more than one hour from Fairfield, California.

Where can an inspection be performed?

We can inspect an RV at a dealership, campground, or private residence, provided the location permits the inspection and gives us sufficient access to the RV.

What utilities must be available?

The seller, dealership, or property representative should provide access to electricity, water, and propane. Systems that cannot be connected or operated may be listed as untested in the report.

Reports & Follow-Up

How soon will I receive my report?

Inspection reports are usually delivered within 24-48 hours following the on-site inspection.

What is included in the final inspection report?

Your detailed digital report may contain 50–100 pages covering approximately 500 inspection points, organized into Life Safety, Major, Minor, and Noteworthy findings. It includes detailed photos, system-by-system results, and professional recommendations covering the RV’s structure, exterior, appliances, electrical and plumbing systems, mechanical components, tires, and overall condition. Optional laboratory fluid analysis is available for an additional fee.

Will the inspector explain the findings?

Yes. You will have a thorough conversation with your inspector, who will explain the significant findings and answer your questions.

Can I call with questions after receiving my report?

Absolutely. We encourage customers to contact us with questions after reviewing their report. We are here to help you understand the findings and make an informed decision.

Does an inspection guarantee that the RV will never experience future problems?

No. An inspection documents the condition of the RV and its accessible systems at the time of inspection. It cannot predict or guarantee against future failures, hidden conditions, or problems that develop afterward.

Can the report help me negotiate the purchase price?

Yes. Documented defects and concerns may provide useful information when discussing repairs, purchase terms, or price adjustments. Negotiations and final purchasing decisions remain between the buyer and seller.

About Our Inspectors

Are your inspectors certified?

Yes. Our inspectors are NRVIA Certified RV Inspectors. NRVIA certification represents a recognized professional standard for independent RV inspections.

Are you independent from dealerships and sellers?

Yes. We are an independent third-party inspection company. We do not represent the dealership or seller, and our responsibility is to provide an honest, objective assessment of the RV.

Do you perform repairs after identifying problems?

Under NRVIA standards, we are not permitted to perform repairs or provide repair estimates on an RV for one calendar year after inspecting it. This requirement protects the independence and impartiality of our inspection. After the one-year period, customers may return to us for repair services, where they can expect the same honesty and integrity we bring to every inspection.
